At Betia, customer satisfaction is important to us. This Refund Policy outlines the terms for requesting refunds on subscriptions or purchases made through our platform.
1. 14-Day Right to Cancel
You have the statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of your initial purchase or subscription without giving any reason. This applies to both one-time purchases and subscription plans.
Important: By accessing or using our digital content (generating analysis reports), you expressly agree to the immediate provision of digital content and acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once you begin using the service.
This waiver is required under consumer protection law for digital content that is accessed immediately. If you generate any analysis reports or use credits, you waive your right to cancel.
2. How to Exercise Your Right to Cancel
To exercise your right to cancel within the 14-day period (provided you have not accessed any digital content), please send an email to support@betia.ai with the following information:
- Your full name and registered email address
- Order or transaction ID
- Statement that you wish to cancel your purchase
Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days and credited to your original payment method.
3. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel
Under consumer protection law, you lose your right to cancel if:
- You have accessed, downloaded, or used any digital content (generated analysis reports)
- You have consumed any credits from your purchase
- You have expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged the loss of cancellation rights
By clicking "Get Started" or generating your first analysis, you provide express consent to immediate digital content delivery and waive your statutory right to cancel.
4. Refunds in Exceptional Circumstances
After the 14-day period or after digital content has been accessed, refunds may still be granted in exceptional circumstances, including:
- Technical issues that prevented access to the service, verified on our end
- Duplicate or erroneous charges
- Billing errors
These requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us with documentation of the issue.
5. Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial months after the initial 14-day period or after you have accessed digital content.
6. Credit Purchases
One-time credit purchases are subject to the 14-day right to cancel only if the credits have not been used. Once credits are consumed to generate analysis reports, you waive your right to cancel as you have accessed digital content.
7. Payment Processing
All payments are securely processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment transactions, billing inquiries, and refund processing in compliance with consumer protection regulations.
